Preparing for Insider Preview Builds of Windows 11 - ***UPDATED 6/28***

I share your opinion. I still do not understand why not take the 7th generation of Intel i7, when it works PERFECTLY, without any kind of jerk or lag. It has greatly improved the speed of the System and the Computer (I would like to underline what I said). I can't believe that testing the way I'm testing and demanding my machine with twelve applications open, including Skype and two games, works so well !! Do you have missing? It has them, because it is a release, but my notebook that the only requirement that it does not meet is that it is an i7 7th, it works extremely better than with windows 10.

You know, this has gotten me thinking. This mandatory Secure Boot and TPM has me wondering, since it is a Must to both, not just one or the other, could it be that Win 11 is not a secure enough OS to run without them? Or even run with just one or the other? I have secure boot on, but do not have TPM and cannot install win 11. So, is the reason because Win 11 is not a secure OS on its own? Is it a Hackers dream OS......

I updated windows 10 21H1 to windows 11 but it kinda looks like both got mixed up

My taskbar didn't change at all

Also start button isn't centerd and start button and search doesn't work

I can't open any apps from start because start button just won't work

Just finished upgrading my systems to 11, here are some queries I've got after the upgrades...

The main rig, meets and exceeds all requirements, upgraded smoothly, and appears to be working fine.

2nd PC meets all requirements apart from the CPU (i7-6700, Really MS?) upgraded smoothly apart from whereas it was Window 10 Pro, after the upgrade, it was 11 Home, tried using my Pro key to upgrade, and I get a message "We can't activate Windows on this device at the moment, You can try activating again later, or go to the Store to buy genuine Windows (0x80070490) My Pro key is genuine from Microsoft, so I guess they've downgraded me due to not meeting requirements?

3rd test laptop, old Core Duo T9500, 8gb ram, no secure boot, no TPM - Windows update gets to 8% and I get the White box pops up saying "Checking System", then fails test due to No TPM, No secure boot. I was under the impression that as an Insider on Dev Channel, it would ignore the requirement and just warn me about not meeting them?

I also can't change my Insider setting from the Dev channel, it's the only option setting gives me? apart from leaving the program on that device.

Surface Pro Gen 1, all well apart from Windows warning me I don't meet requirements, but installed and is running fine.

Anyone else run into the issues I've had on my 2nd or 3rd device at all, any way around been found?

You had to be on the Dev channel as of 24th June or before. Have you just joined or been using Windows 10 Insider for some time, what channel were you on previously?
