For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:
Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.
We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

2021-06-25T19:03:30+00:00 If I do an installation with that leaked ISO that was downloadable a while back, which I believe was a DEV build, will that installation receive updates normally or from the insider builds?

2021-06-25T19:00:01+00:00 Maybe need to define 'modern' here. I don't buy a new computer every year. A $$$ investment in high level gear also means it has to last longer than a phone.
Example 1. There are HP laptops (2011) out there that run an i7 with 4 cores, have 16gb memory and dual drives (including SSD).
There are 'modern' laptops today that only have 2 cores 4-8 gb memory at most and a single small drive.
The HP described made it from XP to Win 7 to Win 10 with no issues. How long will the 'modern' device last ?
Example 2. : There are 'current ' motherboards that PC builders spent $$$ to 'future proof' and get best performance from Windows and Games. It is a big investment and 'new graphics cards ' that are in some of them are pricey. Am certain that most of them are operating with more than 6 cores to the max available online.
So , Maybe 'modern' is not a good criteria and maybe Microsoft will have some 'bridging' strategy for PC builders and gamers.
Yes, it may be a deal breaker for some. At least Windows 10 has another 4 years - allowing builders to save $$$ for next build.
FYI - Some devices have TPM in the processor, Some have a socket for a module, Some may have it but it is just turned off. We all need to learn more about this and share solutions.
Thanks for Tip on TPM.msc Just click Windows button and type TPM.msc for your system
Also, recommend checking Bios for your computer . There is a bios setting for TPM that may hint at ability to pass the test.
