***UPDATE***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

After today's announcement of Windows 11, I found that my PC does not meet the requirement, even if it matches what is written and more.

When application quickly say it doesn't meet the required hardware, it would be good to know in exactly which category it failed.

This especially for us who build our own computers, does not make sense that we have to buy a whole new PC, if it is only hard-drive, or amount of RAM, there need to be upgraded.

Will there be such a feature soon, so I can upgrade what is needed?

    Cheers

    Chris

Oh well, checked all my PC's and notebooks and none appear to be compatible with Windows 11.

My fastest PC is only 4 years old, with 32GB ram and 2 x 1TB SSD's, plus a few HDD's

The app should really tell you what's missing, not just say "not compatible"

Press win+r type in TPM.msc - see if you have TMP 2. If not you will have to go to your UEFI and enable Intel Platform Trust Technology.
