While it is true that over the years the technology and the hardware itself becomes obsolete, it is also absurd that a PC or laptop cannot update to a version based on Windows 10, such as Windows 11, ONLY and ONLY, because your i7 processor is 7th generation, when all the other 10 requirements you more than meet. The security issue is something that insiders themselves have asked for a long time. It is appreciated that MS has listened - even for this time - what we have asked for. Nobody doubts it. My laptop is 3 years old (lenova Yoga 910) I have invested a lot of money (in Argentina it is extremely expensive to access a laptop like mine). This does not mean that I have money or much less, I made a lot of effort of months and even years to save and have a laptop prepared and that it would last ... However, "my requirements are not enough". Windows 10 is very good (one of the best), but that does not imply in any way that it cannot access its successor, due to 3-year-old hardware. Does an Atom processor of the Argentine Government (which is given free in schools) meet the conditions? I have verified it myself that I am a teacher ... It does not comply. However, the application says that if ... I would not be understanding ... Or rather ... If I would be understanding that there is something here, it is not right. I understand what some are saying, about Windows 10, that it will have "many more years of support", I think 4 years (because MS says it will have support until 2025 and officially says it), it is not many years.

There are feature issues (on computers meeting 90% of the conditions) that need to be reviewed urgently. It is humiliating and even - irritatingly not correct - to place conditions that leave thousands of computers out of an OS update, without the possibility of choosing whether we want it or not. That is why we are insiders ... To prove ... Wouldn't it be more successful if they proposed us and not imposed on us -the conditions-, and we can decide ourselves? We have done that since 2007 (in my case) when we were not "insiders", we were partners and beta testers later. We have put our machines at the service of MS - at our own risk - that is why we are insiders. It's not just about having the latest in SO. It is to collaborate so that the "last of last" is better. Being an insider is not (nor will it ever be), being "the first to have ..."; is to make something better for everyone, that's how the program was planned when it was born. Between all of us, we improve what we like the most ... Today we are no longer those who collaborate for MS. We feel that we become an altered and even despised group, which served a cause ... But when deciding, with very little seriousness and arbitrarily, it changes its status or level and is also answered ... . "You do not meet the minimum requirements to install Windows 11." Let's see ... Isn't it the Insider Community that provides feedback with Microsoft, providing not only flaws but also ideas about creativity, needs, etc. to improve? There is no feedback here ... There is a unilateral decision ... Or were we consulted - at the time - about the requirements that we would have to have if we wanted to continue in the program and at the chosen level? Are we not the ones who choose the level (of the three that exist) of insiders where we want to be? Are we arbitrarily changed today? I think we deserve respect ... It is not enough to express that they thank us almost as "thank you for the services provided, but you will no longer be able to do such a thing ..." We have always been and are supporting with each report we send, with each hour of serious work in which we analyze each new compilation. That is not fixed with "thank you very much", that is recognized and if MS wants to make a coherent decision, I think it should consult, before "surprising" us with requirements that leave many out. Nobody says they don't make the decisions they want, that's what the owners of MS are for, but ... Consulting with those of us who always did the best so that we all benefit is to be ethical and respectful. There is a phrase that says: "He does not bite the hand of the one who feeds me" We can understand everything, even "the bite" that they make us, but understand, once and for all, that "the bite" always hurts. .. And it hurts a lot.
