Subject: Insider Copilot Issues Requiring Urgent Attention

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to bring to your attention a few critical issues with the Insider version of the Copilot app that remain unresolved despite multiple feedback submissions. These issues are severe enough to negatively affect user adoption and sentiment once the app goes public.

The three main concerns are as follows:

1. System Tray Icon Unresponsive: Clicking on the Copilot System Tray icon does not open or activate Copilot, rendering it non-functional.
2. Right-Click Menu on Copilot System Tray Icon Missing Options: The menu currently only displays "Quit." It should also include "Open Full View" and "Open Quick View" to provide quick access to different modes.
3. Missing Open Sidebar Search: This feature is absent, limiting the app's usability and versatility.

I’ve submitted these issues through Copilot Feedback multiple times, but they remain unaddressed. I’m reaching out to you as someone I trust to help escalate this to the appropriate Team. Ensuring these issues are resolved before public release is crucial for a positive first impression and a successful launch.

There was an update today, 10/3/25, taking Insider Copilot to version 1.25024.134.0

This has fixed the Left Click issues with its Sys Tray icon. It DOES, now, open Copilot.

At least this is some very needed progress. I discussed all this stuff with a MS Support tech by phone earlier today.

The Right Click missing BOTH Open full view and Open quick view is, STILL, not fixed. That, STILL ONLY, has Quit.

Also, this Copilot should have Open sidebar search. Of course, so should the current non-Insider MS Store Copilot app have it.

I saw that it now opens with a click on the system tray icon and the right click menu is still just for Quit. 😂

I'm back online.

The AT&T tech today, replaced the Modem/Router with a new one, different model same manufacturer.

The old Modem/Router just gave up working all of a sudden on Friday evening. 🤷‍♂️

I'm glad to be back online. It feels weird not having access to the internet. 😂🤷‍♂️

I can imagine it would. Nice you are all sorted, again, now 👍👍.

Maybe, the next update to Insider Copilot will fix more 🤞 But one is better than none and that ONE was certainly very important.
