There is a new offering of Copilot rolling out to all Insider Channels for the Insider MS Store as a CFR. It is version 1.25023.101.0 or higher.
You might care to check Store for it.

Exactly my point. And the 2 issues with the Sys Tray Copilot icon in the IB version need to be corrected ASAP. And since this Copilot version was made available to all IB Channels, it is likely the same behaviour with it in all of them. I suggest, the more testers reporting it via Copilot's feedback tool the better.

I am not talking about or asking about Auto-start nor the K/B shortcut. When the Copilot icon IS in the Sys Tray clicking it should open the full-size Copilot window, same as it does in Win11 GA. Although, in the GA version right clicking on it gives 3 choices, not just Quit.
It is a flaw that it is not opening when the Sys Tray icon is hit.

The one on Canary does not open at all if I click on the sys tray icon, and the only option showing on right click is Quit.
The App versions are quite different and clearly, they don't behave the same way. 😂😂😂😂🤷♂️

It is a flaw that it is not opening when the Sys Tray icon is hit AND that the Rt Clk is not 'complete'. I have reported all this via the Copilot feedback tool. I strongly suggest others do the same. This must be fixed ASAP.

No, it does not open using the Icon in the system tray. It only shows the label Copilot when you hover on it. Or the option to quit if I right click on the icon.
If I press Alt + Space it opens a smaller window just over the taskbar in the middle of the screen. 😂🤷♂️
Alt + Space bar, opens this, or moves the regular open window into this smaller one.
Regular Copilot window, notice the Settings option on the left.
