please I want to stay in Public build and I don't know how to leave my regedit... does anyone know? I only know how to switch to dev, beta and releasepreview channels

OK, thanks Sibro. I just ordered a new PC with an I5-10400 CPU, an SSD drive, and Win 11 Home to be delivered here by Wed. next week. I'll hold off on the registry patch and see what life is like with the new PC next week.

Let me just add a brief editorial comment. MS does a good job on software, but Insider communications sure could use some improvement! 'Nuff said. 🙄

I'm afraid that's the end of the road for you my friend, unless you're willing to fiddle with the registry.

There's a catch though, Microsoft says that non-compliant PCs won't receive updates but here we are 2 updates later and still going. 😁

edit: the registry trick is official from Microsoft

edit2: I bet they published it on purpose to collect data on non-compliant PCs so they can block them sooner.

I think I've found what I need to get that comes with Win 11 pre-installed, so I guess I'll go ahead and pursue that.
