    Might be on their end, Same with 19043.928 non-insider on main.

    I'm sure the problem was on their end.

    Try the update from defender directly, it worked fine for me and then the next update worked normally with W.U.

    Same on all 20H2 machines.

    Just tried today, same device, WU installed it.

    Me too - 

    Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.337.26.0) -Error 0x80070643

    But security says definitions updated ?

    The error 0x80070643 only happened when it first went to 1.337.9.0, but after checking directly with Defender the update was successful and all the subsequent updates worked fine from Windows Update and all show in history.

    This is not a new problem we have seen the same error before with W.U. trying to update windows defender.
