    What can I do that I can't update?

    You need to let Eddie look at the FB log

    and see what he advises.

    Yes . Pretty rare error

    @FloricaFlorentin Mandalin,

    Not that rare after all, I can get the same error.

    Are you sure your machine meets the windows 11 Requirements?

    No, we are looking into a couple of reports. If you could log the feedback and share the link, that would be helpful.

    Hi Eddie,

    Pretty rare error isn't it? doesn't even show up in a Google search.

    Hi Sibro,

    Looks like MS finally added another nail in the road to prevent installing Windows 11 on machines that do not meet the requirements.

    The other variation is this new error 0x80888002 on W.U. download.

    This maybe the end of the game for unsupported boxes, unless somebody finds where they added the new check. 😉

    This is specific to Build 22509:

    Hi Sumit,

    Yes, it is specific to 22509, but apparently only for machines not meeting the requirements. Another way to kick out the unsupported boxes.

    I got the same error on 2 different boxes that do not meet the requirements, while had no problem at all on a fully compliant.
