    I'm getting the error on a fully supported machine on the Windows Insider Dev channel. I've had zero problems installing all previous builds. It doesn't even finish downloading. It gets to 8% and then fails, throwing up the error. It doesn't generate a log. Nothing shows up in event viewer. I'm stumped.

It gets to 8% and then fails, throwing up the error. It doesn't generate a log. Nothing shows up in event viewer. I'm stumped.

    @Thorguy,

    There is a bug that was introduced on build 22509 when they changed appraiser.dll, you can wait for a fix from Microsoft, hopefully on next Wednesday, or try the workaround suggested on an earlier post in this thread page 4 by JuarezFioravanti Filho.

    I could bypass the problem using the suggested workaround.

    He is basically just replacing the file appraiser.dll in "C:$windows.~BT\sources" using the one from build 22504 after getting the error at 8% download, then try the download again.
