I'm getting the error on a fully supported machine on the Windows Insider Dev channel. I've had zero problems installing all previous builds. It doesn't even finish downloading. It gets to 8% and then fails, throwing up the error. It doesn't generate a log. Nothing shows up in event viewer. I'm stumped.
Can you share the link to your feedback in Feedback Hub?

Here's the link.
Sorry it took awhile to get back to you on this. I've been busy. In the meantime, I did try some other workarounds. I finally found one that worked. It's the one that uses the "Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmd" from "AveYo / MediaCreationTool.bat" on GitHub.
I couldn't directly use the appraser.dll workaround because the $Windows-BT folder was empty on my install so I tried another tactic. I went onto UUP and got an ,iso of 22509.1011 (rs_prerelease), copied the older appraier.dll into the Sources folder and then ran Setup. It did start upgrading and looked like all was going well but then it undid the upgrade with the following error.
So I gave up on that approach.
Next I tried the feature update again when 22518.1000 came out but still no joy. Still got Error 0x80888002 at the 8% download phase.
It finally worked after I ran Skip_TPM_Check_on_Dynamic_Update.cmd before clicking retry.
So far all seems good. We'll see what happens going forward.....
