System Requirements for Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Build 16237.1001?

In my experience that's par for the course with ALL 64bit ISOs of builds after 14393... including 15063 for some strange reason as the update worked but the ISO fails to enable a clean install. Some of the earlier builds will display the Windows logo briefly before the reboot, just like when trying to restart after what appears to be a successful update.... later builds just present a blank screen before restarting..... no warning no error messages.THANKS MICROSOFT REALLY HELPFUL .... NOT!!

If I'm not mistaken your image is from your 32bit install showing the Nvidia network driver but the initial failure to boot from a 64bit build on the DVD is, I believe, not with that OR the graphics drivers but with the storage controller drivers shown below in your image. Without those the installer cannot even begin to find a drive on which to load the OS.... no warning no error messages. THANKS AGAIN MICROSOFT REALLY HELPFUL .... NOT!!

As I recall, if you look under storage controllers, there'll be one entry for Microsoft followed by one for each of the physical drives in the PC which will have Nvidia drivers probably showing a version number 15063.0, the last public build since updated to 15063.483 in preparation for the Fall update.

I still don't understand why 64bit Fast ring updates continued to 16199 then stopped..... no warning no error messages. THANKS YET AGAIN MICROSOFT REALLY HELPFUL .... NOT!!

I know that these builds will not be released to the general public but these are setting the baseline for the Fall update and, if this problem sneeks through, there will be a very large number of disgruntled Windows 10 users.

random thought - have you tried pulling the IDE drive out and trying without it

attached? I know there have been strange issues in the past with storage devices

Thanks, but I had already been doing something similar to what you suggested. The BIOS for the ASUS Motherboard, allows me to disabled the IDE channel portions so when I restart the computer, the computer only shows SATA Devices, like the SATA Hard Drive and DVD Drive.

Each Drive is independent, so if the Hard Drive crashes or quits, including the Boot partition, I can boot to the other Hard Drive without breaking a sweat (Leads to putting on Weight. :) )

The ASUS Motherboard BIOS has a Boot Manager.

I share your pain and frustration BUT you have confirmed my suspicion that it's the motherboard chipset 64bit drivers that are at fault - either missing or corrupted.

The problem you describe is exactly the same as I'm experiencing AND your Asus P5N-D motherboard uses the very same Nvidia SLI nForce 750i chipset drivers as my Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus motherboard while Cbarnhorst's ASUS P5K-E uses an Intel chipset and he's been successful.

When I get home on Friday I will try using a 32bit installation to see if, like you, it will update successfully on the Fast ring. That should confirm the problem once and for all!

The others responding to you plight with helpful suggestions have also been offering me the same advice but, regrettably, nothing has worked .... so far.

I'd be interested to know if you've succeeded with a clean install of ANY build since 14393.... give the 15063 build a try using the ISO downloaded from Microsoft - if that fails then it would confirm my thoughts on the timing when the drivers were omitted or corrupted.

I have Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview 32-Bit Build 16241.1001 installed on the IDE Drive within the same computer without problems. ASUS P5N-D Motherboard.

I tried Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview 64-Bit Build 16232.1000 ISO Image burned to a DVD-R and it doesn't load. That is, I hit a key and it boots to the DVD, and before loading into Windows 10 for me to make choices, the computer restarts / reboots.
