System Requirements for Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Build 16237.1001?

Hi @ All and Support,

I have Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit Build 16193.1001 installed and reused the ISO to fix anything that may have been wrong and it installed just fine.

However, I can't seem to install 64-Bit Build 16237.1001 on this computer.

I do have 32-bit Build 16237.1001 installed on another Hard Drive this computer and it is running just fine except for bugs not related to installing.

Why doesn't the 64-Bit version install?

    Colin, I would not be surprised at all, if you did not hit the bulls eye here, smack bang in the middle /--)

    So much so that I have adopted this as my primary working hypothesis. I will do some research on what's involved in (driver) signing in general and let you know if I find something interesting. But I have one question for you NForce750i owners which I can't look up. Could please look at your various installs and post the driver info? If you could post build, architecture, publisher, version , date that would be most helpful. Thanks already.

    I wouldn't write it off so quickly.  Remember that 32bit device drivers do not require driver signing but 64bit ones do.  It may be no more that a driver signing glitch relating to NVidia drivers of that period that may eventually get straightened out.  At least that is one thing that could cause 32bit to install but 64bit to fail.

    Forgive me for asking that which I should already know, but your system also has an NForce750i chip?

    If so, then I am sorry to say that it looks very much like your device is quite likely to be on that 'Obsolete-hardware-as-of-the-Fall-update' list.

    Glad to hear I give some moral support, at least, as so far nothing else seems to have been of any actual help |--).

    The fact that it is all ok under 32bit but absolutely refuses to install under X64 is what I find so puzzling. There is absolutely no 'sensible' reason for that to happen. So I can only assume there is a bug in the X64 version of the code.

    BTW If you are hoping to turn that 32bit OS install into a X64 version somehow, then please don't bother even trying. It ain't gonna work.

    Hi @ StephenPSA ,

    Download and Burn to a DVD or if USB Devices are bootable on your computer, copy the 64-Bit ISO Build to a DVD -R Disk or USB Device.

    See if the 64-Bit loads, ready to be installed. Do the same for the 32-Bit ISO Build as well.

    See if the process loads, where you can choose a partition in which you can load it. You don't need to actually load it.

    For me, the 64-Bit ISO starts loading and simple restarts / reboots. I am not given any information.
