Okay, belatedly, I did what fg2001 insisted on, using PowerShell in admin mode, and it now shows:

MicrosoftWindows.Client.WebExperience_423.5500.0.0_x64__cw5n1h2txyewy

My question is, in the future if this happens again, will Sibro's instructions work?

Open a cmd prompt with admin rights, copy and paste this command

winget uninstall MicrosoftWindows.Client.WebExperience_cw5n1h2txyewy

Restart

Open a cmd prompt with admin rights, copy and paste this command

winget install 9MSSGKG348SP

And by the way, restart needed here too.

Is that 9MSSG348SP generic to the newest, or specific to today's newest? I am guessing the former. And finally, why didn't Microsoft install that in the cumulative update, if whatever older version we had wasn't going to work?? I mean, that's just annoying.

I tried to run the command you showed, but I tried with the command prompt, in admin mode, not with PowerShell. Maybe that's why it didn't work.

Then, when I discovered that mistake and started using PowerShell, Sibro's message came on. So WTH, that seemed like a quick try to fix it once and for all. I did. It did.

Run the power shell command as admin now so you can see how to verify the installed version of that App.

You may learn something new for next time.🤣
