Apparently, this WWEP is changing the OS really deep, messing up more than just Widgets. For example, TaskbarX doesn't work on RP nor Beta anymore after the update, not even enabling taboo's features. 😒
Uninstalling it doesn't fix anything, the damage has already been done. 🤬
And I didn't keep a previous backup. 🤦♂️
TranslucentTB is also not working.

For sure it is not intentionally, it is a bug introduced with the latest Version of Windows Web Experience Pack 423.5100.0.0. 😎

I did not have this set on those boxes, so I just tried setting the weather in this setting.
It does not show on the lock screen on any of these builds Dev 25300, Beta 22623.1325 or R.P. 22621.1343.
All the other info are present except the weather. 🤷♂️
But it shows my local weather on Public Build 22621.1265. 🤣😎
The DEV Build does not have the issue with WWEP, so the missing weather info on the lock screen must be caused by some other mistake common to all 3 insider builds.😎😉
This weather info is missing also when using Win + L 🤷♂️
I tried setting the other possible options, but none of the other options showed any info on the lock screen with public build either. 🤷♂️
Whatever they did, they messed up big time anyway.
Another problem I see is that location info and weather info on the lock screen stopped working on a restart or sign in, but if I do Win + L everything shows up on the screen. 🤷♂️
I've seen that happening from time to time after an update and reboot on any Build, same thing after a restore of a backup, but right now all info are there on the lock screen regardless of how I get to it.
At Login or Win + L they are exactly the same with all the usual info.
Both on Beta and R.P. 🤷♂️
There is a difference when Signing out then that info is missing you see just the clock.
The same behavior on Public Build 22621.1265. 😎
