Edge Side Bar

Split from this thread.

Interesting observation: In Dev IB, the Edge Bar has an Auto Hide (collapse). In Win11, the Edge Bar does not have said feature. Big (1st) snip is Dev IB; small (2nd) one is Win11. Same versions of Edge, btw.

This is for Search in sidebar

Search in sidebar for 'image' does not exist anymore. It has come & gone a few times going back over several months.

My ellipsis panel is slightly different than what you show, but aside from that...

There are other/easier ways to enable the Edge Bar:

Rt clk Edge taskbar icon & or from Sys tray. Also, Win+Shift+F

    There are easier ways:

The problem is that Edge bar is simply missing in some machines.

I have it on one machine with Dev 25179 but it is missing on another PC with the same build. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

    Typical MS inconsistency. 🤐🤐🤐

This one has it, but no way to be found on another one.

    Not on this one. 🤣🤣🤣

Ok, there is an obvious 1-word answer to that... WEIRD 😂

Are they both the same versions and channels of Edge?

Yes, I already said that yesterday.

The other weird thing is the Side bar in the browser itself, the option button is present in one machine and not another.

    Why the difference?
