Update Error in Windows 10 21H1 ( OS Build : 19043.899 )

I think I'll still keep a copy of the failing build 19043.899 to verify if they will fix it next time.

This time with 19043.928 it just ended up with the new error 0x800f0984.

I already got up to .928, but I'd still like to verify if they come up with a good fix.

Maybe I'll keep a backup of .899 for another couple of weeks. 😉

Is this something to do with the Antivirus software ? ,

while installing the new windows updates on the laptop should we Disable the Antivirus software and after successful installation , enable the Antivirus software again , just like the Autocad and other Design Engineering softwares ?

Nothing to do with Antivirus, I have just the standard MS Windows defender, if you have some other Antivirus that is a different story, but it is not the cause for this bug.

Clearly the fix described in the blog is not working, and just introduced a new error 0x800f0984.

• We have resolved an issue where some Insiders were getting an 0x800f081f error when attempting to install an early version of KB5000842. If you continue to hit an issue with the final version of KB5000842 update, let us know via Feedback Hub.

You you want to workaround the problem you can use Update In Place using the MS Official Insider ISO 19043.867 that can be downloaded for the Insider Preview channel. (Don't use the Beta ISO because it is even an older build level, I believe .844)

If you start the setup from the ISO 19043.867 while online and letting it check for updates it will complete the update correctly and come up at build 19043.928.

I just tried this starting from a system at 19043.899 that had the original 0x800f081f and now 0x800f0984 errors.

The updated completed fine, see the results below:

While updating to the 2021-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems (KB5001330) ,

the following error is displayed 

searching the solution for this error on the internet , it was said to run the cmd command and Perform SFC & DISM Scans

after performing the DISM scans 

the following error is displayed 

and after this 

again running the DISM Scans , it Showed ALL OKAY WITH NO ERROR IN THE DISM Scan 

After the Shutdown of the system and again I started it and checked for the windows update , but after downloading and installing the same error : 0x800f0984 is displayed 

" One question in my mind : Is this update " 2021-03 Cumulative Update Preview for windows 10 version 21H1 for x64-based systems ( KB5000842 ) "  installed successfully ? and

what is the cause of the error in installing this update : " 2021-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based Systems (KB5001330) " .
