I had rolled back to Win 10 19044 last week, then it updated to 19044.1200 yesterday. Was trying to have WU install Win 11 .160 co_release, but at 85% it slows down and hangs at 88% now an hour.

Maybe have to go to .132 first then 160?

Or do the UUP Dump and make a 160 ISO to install.

I think the problem was that the laptop got on 19044 a few days ago. I used system restore and for it to 19043, then update to 19043.1200.

Now installing .160 and it went past the 88% freeze that I got before, and is at 100%....Now doing the Restart to see if it finishes the install.

So it appears that if a system is on 19044.1200 it hangs at 88% install, but 19043.1200 does not.

    Hi,

I tried a couple of days ago to update from 19044.1200 to 22000.132 and did not work either, but there was some error message which unfortunately I did not save. :-(

I then tried from 19043.1200 on the same laptop and worked fine.

    Edit:

Tried again today from 19044.1200 to 22000.132 with the MS insider ISO and it completed fine all the way, then W.U. updated up to 22000.160.

That's true. I learned about it elsewhere. Will show up sometime soon, I reckon.

    Cheers,

    Drew

Still the same version on both Dev and Beta....
