Widget feature missing in Windows 11

Hello,

it seems that "Widgets" feature hadn't been properly installed with Windows 11 for me, because there is no option to add it to the taskbar and Win+W keys doesn't work.

I already tried re-registering apps using powershell, without results.

Do you have any idea how to fix this?

    Thank you, but it didn't work.

    That registry key was missing for me; I tried to add it manually but it didn't work either

    Hi.

    I can't tell if it's directly related but check your directX version and see it is DirectX 12..

    In Run dialog box ( WinKey + R ), type in and run:

    dxdiag

    The output should be like the following:

    Yes, my directx version is 12.

    Anyway I reverted back to the previous version of Windows 10 due to this and other taskbar's issues

    EDIT: I tried installing Windows 11 on a virtual machine using Hyper-v, and no widgets again. Could it be a problem with AMD cpu?

    I find strange that nobody has encountered this same issue afaik

    I have the same problem. I installed Windows 11 in a virtual machine as an insider update to windows 10. No widgets for me too.

    I had Windows 11 Pro N with the problem. Then I started installing from scratch Windows 10 Pro and upgrading to Windows 11 through insider and everything is working now.
