Fingerprint Sensor Not Working After Windows 11 Update

I have an Asus Vivobook 14 X413JA.

Yesterday, I downloaded the windows 11 insider preview build from the dev channel, but I was disappointed to find that windows hello couldn't recognize my fingerprint when I tried to log in.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers of my fingerprint sensor but still, it doesn't work.

I have an Acer Aspire A515-55

Window 11 PRO Version 10.0.22000 Build 22000

I have the same problem with the fingerprint reader

I downloaded the driver for this laptop from Acer and installed it for a fresh install. This did nothing.

Then I followed your instructions and my credential manager was set to "manual". I changed it to "automatic" through a local account then went back to my MS account. I removed my old fingerprint from "Windows Hello" then put a new one in. When I closed the laptop and reopened it the fingerprint reader worked. When I rebooted it would not. It seems it isn't being saved for some reason.

Got an update from windows today, now fingerprint scanner works fine,

I'm using a Lenovo YOGA C640-13IML, few days back I updated my system to Windows 11.

Now Fingerprint Sensor doesn't work now.

I checked 'Sign in options' and it says Fingerprint recognition & Facial recognition are currently unavailable.

Seriously i'm beginning to be fed up with this issue. When i bought my device it clearly stated that it's Win 11 compatible. How come if the key security feature is non functional. If it stays like this for couple of days more i'm returning my device as faulty.
