Beta downloaded and updated. I have the new personalization for taskbar. Used command line to do Windows Update and set the Stack Update.
Builds 22621.2199 & 22631.2199 out to Beta Chanel

2023-08-18T23:22:36+00:00 I tried that and it went away but as soon as the time went back it came back and check for updates button is gone
how it looks when date is changed.
This looks pretty annoying. 😵💫🤷♂️
Known issues[General]
- **[NEW]**After updating to this build, the “Check for updates” does not appear as expected under Settings > Windows Update. To manually check for updates, you can open Windows Terminal (or the Run dialog)and enter the USOClient StartInteractiveScan command which will perform the same function as clicking the “Check for updates” button in Windows Update. Note that running the command will not display any output. To confirm that the operation was successful, you can run the command while the Windows Update settings page is open. You should see your device checking for updates.
Missing "Check for updates". 🤐🤐🤐🤷♂️

2023-08-18T23:10:51+00:00 Restarting in Safe mode throws up the Unknown hard error but clicking ok proceeds to sign on and then Safe mode desk top.
It was the same on previous Beta build.
Still broken the same way. 😎
From the Blog. 😉🤷♂️
- We’re working on the fix for an issue causing explorer.exe to crash on the login screen when attempting to enter safe mode.
