Windows Calendar app crashing

The Windows Calendar app is crashing on launch, it was updated through the Store to version 16005.14326.21344.0 a few days ago.

Already tried to reset the Calendar app, and also uninstalled/re-installed WINDOWS COMMUNICATION APPS from the Store.

The latest Mail & Calendar update from the Store restored full functionality to Calendar on both my Dev and Beta Insiders.

They fixed it server side. No update on Windows 11 Retail too, but Calendar now works.

Fixed with 16005.14326.21374.0 released a while ago.

I got the new version only on Beta and Dev not on any other build yet.

Known issue.

My calendar does not launch. - Microsoft Community

In case anyone is using the Windows Mail App there is a workaround of loading the Calendar from the Mail app.

Some customers have reported being unable to launch the Calendar app from the Start menu on Windows 10/11.

We are investigating this issue.

Temporary workaround:
Open the Mail app and launch the Calendar app from inside the Mail app.
Afterwards, future launches of the calendar app from the start menu may work.

That did not work, it failed also when opening it from Mail app.
