File Explorer truncated menu across builds

Split from this thread.

Same problem with 27723.1000. File explorer 3 dots menu opens upward regardless of the position of the window.

It truncates the menu when the window is close to the top of the screen.

Note that the View and the Filter menus open correctly downward, it is only the 3 dots menu that opens in the wrong direction. 😂😂😂

Looks like they are propagating bugs from one build to the other instead of propagating fixes. 😝🤬🤷‍♂️

    I have 4K display, and I now do not see the truncated menu on the 26120.2222.

    Please show the Scale and Resolution.

    This is the case that still opens the menu upwards. 😂😂😝

    This difference was already reported in Oct 10 on this same thread.

    I have this issue. My display is 2496x1664 on Windows 11 Home Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100. Started a few weeks back. The only way to see the menu when the 3 dots are selected is to minimize the page and leave enough room up top for it to be seen completely..

    Thanks for confirming, please show the display settings with Scale and resolution.

    Please also show what display adapter and driver, you are using.

    What scale and screen resolution settings?

    Edit:

    You have a Scale of 200%, that is why you don't see the problem.

    The announced fix only works with Scale of 100%, 200%, 300%.

    Fails with 125%, 150%, 175% etc. 😵‍💫
