Changing the scale does not change my menu from going upward.
File Explorer truncated menu across builds
Split from this thread.
Same problem with 27723.1000. File explorer 3 dots menu opens upward regardless of the position of the window.
It truncates the menu when the window is close to the top of the screen.
Note that the View and the Filter menus open correctly downward, it is only the 3 dots menu that opens in the wrong direction. πππ
Looks like they are propagating bugs from one build to the other instead of propagating fixes. ππ€¬π€·ββοΈ

2024-11-09T02:27:22+00:00 @Lyle Plesnick, Clearly this statement in the blog is incorrect, the fix only works in some cases.
Still fails and opens the menu upwards with several different Scale settings for the display, including the recommended Scale setting. (In my case 150%)
Seems to work for 100%, 200%, 300% and none of those other values that are not multiple of 100%. π
Time for another FBH report.
- Fixed an issue causing the See More (ββ¦β) menu to open in the wrong direction (and potentially display offscreen as a result).

I think in your case the resolution is also unusual.
I just tried the two normal ones 1920 x 1080 and 3840 x 2160, the second one is exactly the double of the standard one.
They may have more than one bug caused by the Scale and also by the resolution.
You can file a separate FBH report for your specific case. π
I did not test all the possible resolutions to see which other combination may fail. Also, I don't have your specific one available on my machine.
