File Explorer truncated menu across builds

Split from this thread.

Same problem with 27723.1000. File explorer 3 dots menu opens upward regardless of the position of the window.

It truncates the menu when the window is close to the top of the screen.

Note that the View and the Filter menus open correctly downward, it is only the 3 dots menu that opens in the wrong direction. 😂😂😂

Looks like they are propagating bugs from one build to the other instead of propagating fixes. 😝🤬🤷‍♂️

    This update didn't fix it... 2024-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5046617)

    Hi Johnny,

    Still the same issue with Build 26100.2314.

    Doesn't even work with 100% scale like it did with 26120.2222.

    They are back to the original, broken in all cases. 🤣😜

    I found another one failing even with the recommended display settings and Scale 100%. 😂🤷‍♂️

    Thanks for upvoting.

    The fix they implemented is not working in all those cases when the Display Scale is not 100% or exact multiple of 100%. 🤣

    No idea why the File Explorer 3 Dots menu is the only one affected by this weird behavior. 🤷‍♂️

    Also, it seems that they may have other cases affected by unusual Resolution settings.

    I did not try all the combinations available on my PCs. 😎

    There are many other resolution options on different display adapters and drivers.

    With my machines the problem is only affected by the Scale setting, regardless of the resolutions. 🤷‍♂️
