File Explorer truncated menu across builds

Split from this thread.

Same problem with 27723.1000. File explorer 3 dots menu opens upward regardless of the position of the window.

It truncates the menu when the window is close to the top of the screen.

Note that the View and the Filter menus open correctly downward, it is only the 3 dots menu that opens in the wrong direction. 😂😂😂

Looks like they are propagating bugs from one build to the other instead of propagating fixes. 😝🤬🤷‍♂️

    all mine are working including public release except DEV. I will keep monitoring.

    Hi Bryce,

    They added a partial fix that works in some cases, depending on the Display settings.

    It does not work on any of my machines, because I use the Scale of 150%, which happens to be the recommended one with my screens. 😂😂🤷‍♂️

    The bug was added by an experimental feature that in now enabled by default in all builds, it was supposed to fix some other issue, but instead it adds the bug than causes the 3 dots menu to open in the wrong direction.

    On build 26120.2510 the problem returned back with the previous display resolution settings.

    Looks like MS is ignoring the FBH reports. 😝🤷‍♂️

    Still the same problem with Build 27758.1000 on Dec 4, 2024.

    They just propagate the same partial fix that only works with display scale of 100% or multiples.

    Fails with any other display settings.

    Clearly, they are not reading the FBH reports. 😜🤬
