Stil the same problem with Dev Build 26120.3000.
File Explorer truncated menu across builds
Split from this thread.
Same problem with 27723.1000. File explorer 3 dots menu opens upward regardless of the position of the window.
It truncates the menu when the window is close to the top of the screen.
Note that the View and the Filter menus open correctly downward, it is only the 3 dots menu that opens in the wrong direction. πππ
Looks like they are propagating bugs from one build to the other instead of propagating fixes. ππ€¬π€·ββοΈ

2025-01-19T21:34:56+00:00 Hi Johnny,
F.Y.I.
A user on another thread suggested another workaround which seems to work, but unfortunately it causes all the desktop icons to be rearranged, and they need to be placed manually back in the desired location.
Using the Custom scaling it can be changed manually to 145% and with that the 3 dots menu opens correctly downward.
Clearly it is a messy workaround.
Disabling the silly useless feature/fix that MS enabled by default is a much better workaround.
See this thread for more details. π

2025-01-17T20:59:08+00:00 Still the same problem with Dev Build 26120.2992. There is now a collection of FBH reports for this bug.
Will MS ever fix this nonsense?
