Which is better Canary or Beta Channel?

Thing to consider:

Builds released in Beta channel are much more stabile than those released in Canary (or Dev) channel.

At some point in future builds released in Beta channel will become released to public and it's possible to stop getting previews and stay on released versoin without clean install. Builds released on Canary channel are for testing latest develpment ideas and those builds may have unstabile.

To stop getting Canary (or Dev) channel previews you have to do clean install of Windows 11 or restore previous stable build from diask image if you take it before joining to WIP.

If you want to see whats coming to next Windows version without big risks then select Beta channel.

If you want to see developmen on new features and you are willing to take risk of possible issues with your system and be prepared to fix those issues or even make clean install then select Canary channel.

Especially on Canary channle it isn't recommend to use your only / main device for testing previes.
