Snipping Tool issues with Build 25295

Sure did. Tried also repair and reset.

It didn't help.

Would be nice to be able to install older versions in cases like this.

I solved the Snipping Tool problem by restoring 25284 and then upgrading to 25295 directly, skipping 25290.1000 and 25290.1010.

Snipping tool works fine now on the same machine that was failing when it went from 25290.1010 to 25295.1000.

Go figure!

What made me suspicious was that error on DCOM 25290.1010.

It is not just affecting the snipping tool

In my case it is the only app behaving that way. 🤷‍♂️

I think you need a second machine with a standard size screen, so you can compare behaviors. 🤣🤣😎

Nah! thanks, I'm already testing too much as it is. 😒

I have 2 other machines but with W10, the laptop is an exclusive Insider's test bed.

This is interesting on the FBH response, some insiders may find that ms-screenclip entry doesn't exist.

I found it on all my 25300 systems. 🤷‍♂️
