Snipping Tool issues with Build 25295

Sure did. Tried also repair and reset.

It didn't help.

Would be nice to be able to install older versions in cases like this.

I solved the Snipping Tool problem by restoring 25284 and then upgrading to 25295 directly, skipping 25290.1000 and 25290.1010.

Snipping tool works fine now on the same machine that was failing when it went from 25290.1010 to 25295.1000.

Go figure!

What made me suspicious was that error on DCOM 25290.1010.

    Here's and example:

    ST open, after taking a shot the window comes back random size and randomly positioned off the screen.

    I seem to be able to post any size, I can adjust the size of the snipping tool and also the picture within it. This is also on 4k monitors

    Mine is always the same size on my screen.

    I can shrink the size of the snip on the screen but still it does not paste. 🤣🤷‍♂️

    I cannot paste a full screen today at all.

    Edit:

    But I could do this from my public Build 22621.1265, apparently with no problem.

    I'm not talking about picture sizes, I'm talking about the app's window.

    Can't you see is off the screen with a random size?
