Today we’re rolling out the first update: Windows Technical Preview build 9860. If you’re using the computer when the update downloads, you will be prompted to reboot after which you’ll see the “Installing your apps” screen, and then the new build will be ready to use. If you leave your computer plugged in and on overnight, the update will be installed automatically. Once installed, the build number displayed on the desktop will be 9860. Me too. Rebooted and now is downloading the update again.

Jan, Your not alone with the missing letters all over the place. I also had to download Chrome to access the forum. I can't even use the Windows feedback app to report the problem since it's impossible to read the different categories or even what I typed into the text box. I hope they figure this out soon. I think in the meantime I might reinstall and not update to the 9860 build. Or just switch over to the HD with Windows 7.
