Today we’re rolling out the first update: Windows Technical Preview build 9860. If you’re using the computer when the update downloads, you will be prompted to reboot after which you’ll see the “Installing your apps” screen, and then the new build will be ready to use. If you leave your computer plugged in and on overnight, the update will be installed automatically. Once installed, the build number displayed on the desktop will be 9860. What the hell happened? This up date screwed upvevrything up. It was running smooth but now words are all over the place. Letters ore omitted and spelled wrong, spaces where there shouldn't be any. This is completely unacceptable. Its mot me it this **** you handed out. I'm going to uninstall. I quantee my next computer will not be windows based. If this is all the better you can do go back to Kindergarden where you belong. You are wasting my time trying to help you. You sir should not fiddle with TP software. You attitude indicates that you should stay on stable released software and not be on the bleeding edge. Obviously many users have display driver problems. That is something that you should expect in TP's. Why not revert to your backup? You have made a backup, right?

After the update McAfee stop working. Actually it's working but real-time scanning gets turned off by itself. Highly, recommend, strongly suggest these Builds be run, tested, evaluated, not using 3rd Party securities, such as Norton, Avast, McAfee et al. Cheers, Drew

I have build 9860 on two laptops. The corrupt display issue is on one with an Intel chipset. The one with AMD graphics is working fine.

Yes, just upgraded to build 9860 and I also have this issue with the missing on-screen characters. I've only noticed this in the modern apps and IE so far. It looks like the font being used is not displayed correctly. Haven't tested it on AMD yet though. Very weird.
