If you leave your computer plugged in and on overnight, the update will be installed automatically. Once installed, the build number displayed on the desktop will be 9860. After the update McAfee stop working. Actually it's working but real-time scanning gets turned off by itself.

Exactly the same problem here. IE is unusable and the fault reporting dialogue box is unreadable.. This is a major problem and requires immediate attention.

Still trying to update to the new build on SP3, It keeps asking me to install, and when i click restart, it boots back into the 9841 build, but still shows the new build is ready to install. Any suggestions?

As a developer for many many years I am appalled at how bad this update is. I know this is a technical preview but MS need shooting for this rubbish... in fact I am seriously considering dropping MS completely and selling both my surface pcs and my Windows phone... you really need to vastly improve your game plan MS... get some serious controls into your testing programme MS dont be such a cheapskate and rely on the world.... VERY BAD MS... VERY BAD my experience: I am in the UK and yesterday onto my Surface Pro 3 512GB I managed to download and install 3860... both wifi networks I have had no internet connectivity.... network helper failed to find or fix anything today i decided to try to refresh my settings... lost a bunch of apps in doing so but my wifi network connectivity seemed ok... then i noticed ... ive reverted back to the previos build... oh is that whAT refresh does? ... but hang on... i have no history that i applied an os update .. and preview build tells me that there is NO update available... has MS pulled this **** already???? withoutr ANY comments.... feedback methinks.... oh ****... microsoft feedback app does nothing switches from blue to black dos like box... more MS ****.... SACK THE WHOLE DEVELOPMENT TEAM MS... DONT PUT THIS **** OUT UNTIL EVERYTHING IS FIXED.... Strange. I also have a SP3 and are running 9860 without any major problems (considering that this is actually a TP not even a beta). I am using my SP for business, and the critical apps for me is Citrix, Office and Remote desktop. All these works fine. Things I am missing is Onenote pen functions (button) Sweden not available amongst the display languages or in many MS apps (fx Finance information)

my experience:
