Today we’re rolling out the first update: Windows Technical Preview build 9860. If you’re using the computer when the update downloads, you will be prompted to reboot after which you’ll see the “Installing your apps” screen, and then the new build will be ready to use. If you leave your computer plugged in and on overnight, the update will be installed automatically. Once installed, the build number displayed on the desktop will be 9860. It seems to be running nice and smooth on my PC...

Why do I get Activate Windows on a technical preview? i recently updated , and then it asks me to Activate the windows, then i restart.. and its fine, then after a few hours AGAIN ! Please help Ps; I LOVE THE 10 ! <3

Build 9860 skips/omits letters all over the screen as you can see on the left. The build number 9860 won't print the "6" for example. I have some screen captures but can't save them to send to you because I can't read what's on the screen. YIf you want to send me an address I can email them to you. This build is badly broken. Also the Notify Me checkbox below doesn't work.
