Windows 11 Wifi Problem

How can we install another driver when it doesn't even connect to the wifi?

You can use LAN connection or use another computer and then transfer drivers using USB stick.

I too have the same issue as everyone else. I just bought a brand new HP Pavilion Laptop and after pulling it out of the box, it stopped on the 4th screen where it would consistently attach to wifi but always said "Connected, No Internet". After doing the tricks listed on how to breakout of the initial Windows 11 setup (Shift+F10, type 'taskmgr', click 'more details' on the task manager and then killing/ending the "Network Connection Flow" process/task), Windows 11 proceeded to the main screen. I immediately rebooted it and then disabled the 802.11ax protocol which was the root cause for me. For some reason, Windows 11 did not like my WiFi6, ASUS router so I changed the protocol to 802.11ac and have never had a problem since. To do that in Windows 11, you must:

• Click the Search icon / magnifying glass
• Type "control panel"
• Click "Device Manager"
• Go down to "Network Adapters" and expand that section
• Highlight and double click on your wi-fi adapter (it has unique names depending on your hardware manufacturer)
• Click the "Advanced" tab

Change the wireless mode from 802.11ax to 802.11ac, reboot and see if it changes from "Connected, No Internet" to just Connected (with internet).

That's what fixed my issue after I spent a few days troubleshooting the wifi, "Connected, No Internet" problem.

I have a similar issue on my win 11 PC.

I buy a new wifi-6 adapter (Inter Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz) which support both band 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

My home router is wifi 5 and support both bands 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

when I first installed the adapter (there is 2 months) it works fine on both bands. but since the last update(s) only the 2.4GHz connectes but the 5GHz say always 'connected no internet'. the first time this happend there is one month, and I simply uninstall the adapter and install it again and the problem is fixed.

but since the last update I never succeed to fix the issue.

Note 1: I shared my phone wifi-6 connection on band 5GHz, and my PC-Win11 succeed to connect to my phone.

Note 2: All my phones wifi-6 succeed to connect to my home router (support only wifi 5) on band 5GHz

can you please help me to fix the issue.

I have the same Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz on my SP7 (Surface Pro 7) with this problem, Windows's update had a firmware update so I am hoping it is fixed, my router is also had 2.4 and 5GHz and only my SP7 has the problem. My other computers and phone work fine with the router.

I would check to see if there is a bios/firmware update for your computer.

The last few Insider's installs have this problem unfortunately

To get the wireless working again I use the following.

(1st) Settings, Network & internet, advanced network settings, and then use Network reset.

(2nd) You can also go to the device manager and un-install the AX200 network drivers, reboot, Windows will re-install the drivers.

If the first doesn't work then I try the 2nd method. Once you have it working download the latest AS200 drivers from Intel and save them to the desktop in case of further problems going forward so you can re-install them if necessary. I think Windows Update interferes with the drivers so causing the problem.
