Clean install of Windows 11 Build 22533.1001 on VMware Player 16.2.2

I downloaded and installed VMware Player 16.2.1 and Installed from the MS Insider ISO 22533.1001 on a Virtual machine.

I used the link below to add TPM, then the installation worked all the way through.

Added this line as suggested in the .vmx file:

managedvm.autoAddVTPM = "software"

Cannot go any further, I don't have a key to activate Windows 11 on VM.

Also, way too slow for my taste on this old laptop.

    Its all appreciated guys. Reason I started using vm was for testing software, usually got from illicit sites, key generators, you surely know the game from warez sites. It's how I got familiar with so much software. With a saved snapshot, I could just return to working copy without damaging main system and data. Suppose could do same with image backups, but did not want to risk all the data. Like to keep main OS untouched with this crap.

    If I could only get one good nights sleep in. This up every hour, sometimes every 15min has totally wiped out my clear thinking. Good news, hospital just called, I go in 26th, so hope doc can get to the bottom of this.

    What's up with that mess of build 22538 taskbar. Double hidden icon arrows, out of align, the temp on left side looks stupid, much better with W10. Leave it to MS to continually spew trash with bad design. Thought we had the best pot up here. lol.

    FYI:

    Not sure if you will run into the same problem but VMware Workstation Pro 16.2.2 cannot be uninstall by conventional means. The options to modify or uninstall are greyed out.

    I need to investigate further, glad I always have backups of my previous builds. 😁

    I will try and install the new version tomorrow and check that out. Do you use any uninstallers. I use a very old one, like its simplicity, the newer ones seem to be loaded with too many options, like why do I want to monitor every install. Guess that comes down to personal preference.

    No, I don't like uninstallers, I restored 22533 instead.

    Besides, I was going to restore it anyway, can't live without performance tab and the misalignment was driving me crazy, mild OCD here. 😉
