Charging Problem in Windows 11

laptop stop charging when i upgread to windows 11. However the charging sign shows costantly but there is no increase in laptop`s battery percentage

please suggest what should i do

    I'm also facing the same problem,

    My laptop model is Lenovo YOGA C640,

    Appreciate if Microsoft team can fix this issue soon,

    i am also facing same issue , after installing windows 11 my laptop battery is not charging fully it is stoping at 88 percentage.

    I installed window 11 on 27th October 2021.

    I was thinking of going into the BIOS / UEFI to look for adaptive / standard charging settings, but the first thing I looked at was Windows Updates, because the last time I had an issue (the one that bricked the taskbar and start), it turned out to be a software thing.

    I saw several updates installed on 9/4, and the latest was installed on 9/10 (although it was working fine even up until last night, 9/13). I uninstalled the 9/10 update and while it was uninstalling, I already saw the "charging" icon go back to being a normal battery icon (SP7 was unplugged, and was still showing the charging icon).

    Restarted, let the uninstall finish, did a shut down for good measure, started it up. And then I plugged in the Surface Connect charger, and now it's working again.

    Tried to run Surface Diagnostic again (I ran it earlier and it said "couldn't find the battery"), but the first step is it suggests installing Windows Updates, so I cancelled it for now.

    Anyway, long story short, I uninstalled the latest update, and it worked for me. Will see what happens when I have to update again. Hope this works for at least some of us here.

    I also had this problem. I am also using a Dell Inspiron 5577 laptop. I also updated the to the latest build of windows.

    in the bios i set the charging to standard where it was set to adaptive.

    The light on the laptop does not go amber to show it is charging but the level indicator is now going up

    hope this helps!

    I am currently experiencing this one now. How do I update the charging from adaptive to standard? Many thanks!

    Plz whenever you have any serious issues like this then plz also report this issue in feedback hub as well so Microsoft see the issue and will fix it in next build.
