Charging Problem in Windows 11

Hi,

Same problem I am facing here. HP-Pavillion cc153-tx. Tried a lot by uninstalling the battery management system.

I was working smoothly on win10 with almost about 3 and half hours of battery backup. But after upgrading to win11, it's a **** backup. Can't operate my laptop for more than 30min with minimum brightness. Draining battery while I shutdown my laptop also.

Microsft always brings something worst while we working better.
Please resolve, or we have to forcely go back to win 10 again. Also, we have to turn off permanently win updates.

My laptop is chuwi lapbook pro I bought it from alliexpress in 2019 nothing special 300€, for watching series, and working in word. it was working good, since few fays ago I updated to windows 11, 2 days ago i did report.html and it showed the battery from 37k to 33k, which is good after 3 years of use. Well, series and word..

It is not charging,

And the most weird thing is:

1. It shows that the screen was working 20h, but in the entire day I only turned it on for 2-3h
2. Wasnt charging more than 48%-44%, now it is not charging
3. It was updating when it wasnt turned on. Just minutes ago i was trying to uninstall the updates, and I saw that few updates were from yesterday 13/01, when I had the laptop turned off whole day until minutes ago. Well, now it has 0% and died.

Here in the las picture U can see that I was charging from yesterday 13/1 13h until today 14/1. All the blue points when I was charging, and how they go lower, and how many hours it was charging.

I like Windows, new design and intuitive use and it os better than 10 I could apreciate it after 2-3h of use. But now im kind a regreting bcz im going to have no laptop to use the window, and now im thinking to not instal it in th PC, who knows it might damage smthing on my PC.

I cant remove the battery bcz it is internal, and I was trying to undo the updates, but after uninstalling them and rebooting the system they install again(by force)

So my quation, is somebody's working on this issue?I would prefer this to avoid headackes, but if my battery is damaged, will Microsoft assum the responsability and send me another laptop (same characts)? Or as usually happens : it is my problem?

Day 14/1 (previously i uninstalled one or 2 updates, those which not installed by force after reboot)

It charged to 32%

Today 15/1

Charged 80%, but i spent more time to charge (18h)

Its clear that it cannot be the hardware(I had no changes, all the same) and before update to windows 11, it was fine. And after undoing some updates from windows11 it started working again.

His battery is dead flat so can't turn the laptop on even with the charger plugged in so installing software at this stage isn't going to happen.

That sounds like a hardware problem. The battery isn't controlled by the OS, so if the device is powered off, the battery should be able to take a charge without any drain/usage occurring.

Subsequently, the device should be able to post/boot from the charge the battery has (or at least from the steady power input when connected directly to the charger) since the initial BIOS/UEFI phase happens before the OS comes into play.

It's possible the battery of the device is defective, or the charger isn't functioning properly.

Have to agree with this diagnosis. Back in the day when laptops all had removable batteries, one could power up the device without a battery if plugged into charger. I tend to keep several universal chargers on hand in case of any failures as most laptops may have slightly different voltage requirements. Most of the universal ones can use different size adapters for most devices.
