    Here are the dumps: uh

    • When did the problem start?
    • For example, have Windows, graphics card drivers, or other hardware drivers been updated recently?
    • Has new software or tools been installed?
    • Some third-party software may conflict with the system and cause instability.

The problem started randomly. I did not update anything or install new software.

I attempted to reinstall Roblox, but it doesn't work. Both UWP and the Roblox downloaded the website give this GSOD almost immediately. (I tried Bloxstrap, but it also green screens.)

I am aware that I am on an Insider build, specifically Canary. (I am mindful that Canary has bugs. I am just a tester.)

27802.1000 is the build that I am on.

    Hi Speedrunner_349,

Running games on Insider can cause trouble, type winver in search open that app and post back the Insider build you are on.

    GSOD = Insider install.

BSOD = public or consumer install.

    Hello,Speedrunner_349

Welcome to posting in the Microsoft Community.

I understand your problem very well, it's really a headache to encounter this situation. But don't worry, we can analyze and try to solve this problem step by step.

First of all, a green screen of death usually generates some dump files which record important information about the system crash and are very helpful in diagnosing the problem. You can try to check if your system is properly set up to generate dump files and follow the steps below:

    • Left-click Start > Settings > System
    • On the System page, click “System Information” - “Advanced System Settings”.
    • In the “Startup and Repair” option box, select “Settings”, adjust “Write Error Message” to “Memory Dump”, and click “Dump”. “Click “OK”.
    • After the BSOD error occurs again, the system will automatically collect the error message and store it in the Minidump folder under C drive, you can upload this file to the cloud and share it with me.

In the meantime, we recommend you to check the error log in the Event Viewer. The Event Viewer logs detailed information about the system's operation, especially errors related to the video card or network card. You can follow the steps below to view the logs:

    • Right-click on the Start Menu and select Event Viewer.
    • In the left menu, expand Windows Logs and select System and Applications.
    • On the right side, view the error log when the crash occurred.

From your description, it seems that the more common cause of this problem is an incompatibility between the graphics card driver or the network card driver. Especially when running a program like Roblox, it is very important that the graphics rendering of the graphics card and the network connection work together. Crashes and green screens of death like these can be triggered by incompatible versions of the graphics card or network card drivers, or by problems with the drivers.

To better help you analyze the problem, you can be bothered to recall the following points:

    • When did the problem start?
    • For example, have Windows, graphics card drivers, or other hardware drivers been updated recently?
    • Has new software or tools been installed?
    • Some third-party software may conflict with the system and cause instability.

Going through the above steps will provide us with some tips on how you can share more information with me and I will investigate this further for you. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

    Best Regards,

    Rota|Microsoft Community Support Specialist
