Now I am gonna wait and see in the next... idk 2 hours maybe if there is gonna be a change or not... Since this is a known issue, is it worth to spend time on it? Suggest you update using the ISO or pause updates and wait for the next build.

I do have a similar issue here as well I can say... I am updating windows from the release channel to canary and I had 2 bounce when downloading it from WU. Nothing too bad but once it went offline... it did a coupe restarts, got "stuck" at 60% for maybe 20 mins and now is at 64% for about one hour. Plenty of space on SSD as well before the whole process started as well. Now I am gonna wait and see in the next... idk 2 hours maybe if there is gonna be a change or not... As Pauli said, just wait, watch a movie, or take a very long walk
