Is my PRIVACY AT RISK while using windows 10 ???

"When you acquire, install and use the Program, Microsoft collects information about you, your devices, applications and networks, and your use of those devices, applications and networks," the privacy policy states. "Examples of data we collect include your name, email address, preferences and interests; browsing, search and file history; phone call and SMS data; device configuration and sensor data; and application usage."

“If you open a file, we may collect information about the file, the application used to open the file, and how long it takes any use [of] it for purposes such as improving performance, or [if you] enter text, we may collect typed characters, we may collect typed characters and use them for purposes such as improving autocomplete and spell check features,” the privacy policy states.

I mean am i really safe using windows 10 technical preview. Microsoft can get to my email address,my password,my ATM card information,My browsers history,my surf logs and other details.I don't want Microsoft to know what am i doing over internet. They can get to any private information of my as i type it over the keyboard.  I don't feel secure using windows 10 anymore. They don't have the right to know somebodies personal stuff.  I don't want Microsoft to watch my each and every move. Is not really an inhuman approach of interfering with someones personal data and information and their privacy?

I JUST DON'T WANT THEM TO TRACK MY INTERNET ACTIVITY AS THAT IS WHAT WE USE ON DAILY BASIS AND DON'T WANT OTHERS TO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING OVER THE INTERNET. THEY CAN COLLECT ANY OTHER INFORMATION AS THEY WANT TO DEVELOP THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS. I AM STILL USING WINDOWS 10 TECHNICAL PREVIEW BECAUSE IT IS JUST GREAT TO USE AN OPERATING SYSTEM THAT IS A COMBINATION OF WINDOWS 7 AND WINDOWS 8.JUST RESPECT SOMEBODIES PRIVACY.THAT'S ALL.

    So, upon further investigation it seems that even if one declines the wip program, there is still a keylogger in win10.

    I was under the impression that keyloggers in any form were illegal.

    I am not a terrorist and that isn't a problem for me. Find those stupid jihadists JSOC. Then execute them just as they did with innocent citizens. Thanks for searching them.

    ALLUS IT enterprises are obliged to hand ALL their data to the NSA. Basis for that submission is US law against Terrorism (like Patriot Act):

    I would highly doubt that they are collecting passwords (they know which fields are passwords as IE handles them differently), user names (IE also knows these as well), full files, or even screenshots every few seconds.

    As far as the key logging, it probably is capturing what I type here (as it's spell checked through IE), what you put in the search box, file statistics (not the actual file).

    They may collect the file itself in rare cases, like when a program crashes so that they can try and replicate the crash.

    But for the most part they are just trying to figure out how you use the operating system and what problems you run into...

    Now the tinfoil wearing hat part of me says they're collecting everything, but the realist part of me says they don't want to store everything every user has and does.

    But if you're worried, go back to Windows 8.1 and wait for the consumer preview (probably less collection) or the RTM (most likely little to no collection, except what you opt in to through setup)

    The purpose of technical preview is for testing and evaluation and these information will be collected as anonymous. Let say it won't collect like person a who is living in this city and these are all his or her personal data. What is collect is like a user mostly close program by click on x icon and other using right click and close it and these information will collect and analysis to improve user experience in Windows.

    And when you register for program you already sharing your name and email address but you could chose option in Microsoft profile that Microsoft not contact you.

    Can I also assume that Microsoft is actually reading the comments concerning 10 on this here forum..??
