Is my PRIVACY AT RISK while using windows 10 ???

"When you acquire, install and use the Program, Microsoft collects information about you, your devices, applications and networks, and your use of those devices, applications and networks," the privacy policy states. "Examples of data we collect include your name, email address, preferences and interests; browsing, search and file history; phone call and SMS data; device configuration and sensor data; and application usage."

“If you open a file, we may collect information about the file, the application used to open the file, and how long it takes any use [of] it for purposes such as improving performance, or [if you] enter text, we may collect typed characters, we may collect typed characters and use them for purposes such as improving autocomplete and spell check features,” the privacy policy states.

I mean am i really safe using windows 10 technical preview. Microsoft can get to my email address,my password,my ATM card information,My browsers history,my surf logs and other details.I don't want Microsoft to know what am i doing over internet. They can get to any private information of my as i type it over the keyboard.  I don't feel secure using windows 10 anymore. They don't have the right to know somebodies personal stuff.  I don't want Microsoft to watch my each and every move. Is not really an inhuman approach of interfering with someones personal data and information and their privacy?

I JUST DON'T WANT THEM TO TRACK MY INTERNET ACTIVITY AS THAT IS WHAT WE USE ON DAILY BASIS AND DON'T WANT OTHERS TO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING OVER THE INTERNET. THEY CAN COLLECT ANY OTHER INFORMATION AS THEY WANT TO DEVELOP THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS. I AM STILL USING WINDOWS 10 TECHNICAL PREVIEW BECAUSE IT IS JUST GREAT TO USE AN OPERATING SYSTEM THAT IS A COMBINATION OF WINDOWS 7 AND WINDOWS 8.JUST RESPECT SOMEBODIES PRIVACY.THAT'S ALL.

    Ironically when I read the User Agreement to post on this forum, it cautions me "If that user suggest he use Remote Assistance to help you, be aware that he will have access to your computer, and that your computer could be hacked." This is EXACTLY what they are doing. They are granting themselves COMPLETE access to everything, private and public, on ALL of your devices. It is WAY over the line in terms of decency, courtesy, privacy, and intrusion. I suggest you do what I did, which was revert back to previous version (Windows 7 for me) and then change EVERY password you have. Talk about Big Brother. Apparently he is here and his name is Microsoft.

    As a read this people had some good points but to be honest with you no matter what antivirus you have or software you have besides vpn service. You are always at risk hackers could get in your pc if they wanted to. Also your ip has logs of everything you do on there servers so if you think your safe your not. On top of that im pretty sure ms is going delete any info it has gathered after the tech preview is over. If you think about it if wont let them look at the things you like to make 10 better then how are you going to trust the os in general when it comes out

    Your Privacy is at a far Lower Risk than Facebook where you Posted your photographs for all to see, & your interests & your friends, & the entire world knows. So if someone wants to find about you easier for him to go to Facebook than to try to hack Microsoft Servers

    When & if you Advertised on such social Media that -this is me than why be so paranoid about privacy.

    No one in this discussion has questioned your right to accept or not, you posted a discussion subject (In fact you asked a question: Is my PRIVACY AT RISK while using windows 10 ??? ::) on an open forum, which is for the purpose of each poster to express their point of view.

    Uh, no, actually I did not ask the question.

    I posted my point of view in answer to the original question, the aforementioned : Is my PRIVACY AT RISK while using windows 10 ??? ::

    If you are testing this operating system on a machine on which you do not do the majority of your computing, as suggested by Microsoft, no. You will only be testing things out and trying out a few websites and so on. If you are using it as the OS on your main machine not only are you disregarding what Microsoft says, risking your own data etc., but there is a slight risk to your privacy. Of course, all the data is going to be processed by machines not people as there will be far to much for anything else so I suspect the risk will be tiny.

    YES it is - But same as

    A) If you use a Apple Phone - Each time your phone is backed up online on Icloud your Phone Directory your recent calls & your sms are backed up

    B) In windows 8.1 also a disk image is online backed up in OneDrive.

    In both cases if you lose your phone or laptop you do not have to sweat about lost information, you simply buy a new phone or Laptop use the same account to log on & all your information is back

    Depending on your Settings your Documents may not be back, in a laptop if you are using local Drive C: instead of OneDrive

    But is it not better to avoid in case of theft to compromise your Privacy rather than lose all your information

    IN Windows 8 & Windows 8.1 Laptop if you forget your password unless you change your Password in Login Live or some kind of website, they cannot be unlocked

    Apple also requires in all phones from 4 onwards PIN or in 5S onwards your biometric signature.

    So Privacy or Security you decide

    So is leaving your car unlock, or giving your phone number when buying a new car, so is filling out a warrantee for your car, so is giving you buddy your pin number, so is using google, so is using apple, so is using the garbage, as well as filling out a job application. We live in a world of social media get over it JEEZ1.

    google privacy seem similar and its not a bata Humm google privacy statement
