Is my PRIVACY AT RISK while using windows 10 ???

"When you acquire, install and use the Program, Microsoft collects information about you, your devices, applications and networks, and your use of those devices, applications and networks," the privacy policy states. "Examples of data we collect include your name, email address, preferences and interests; browsing, search and file history; phone call and SMS data; device configuration and sensor data; and application usage."

“If you open a file, we may collect information about the file, the application used to open the file, and how long it takes any use [of] it for purposes such as improving performance, or [if you] enter text, we may collect typed characters, we may collect typed characters and use them for purposes such as improving autocomplete and spell check features,” the privacy policy states.

I mean am i really safe using windows 10 technical preview. Microsoft can get to my email address,my password,my ATM card information,My browsers history,my surf logs and other details.I don't want Microsoft to know what am i doing over internet. They can get to any private information of my as i type it over the keyboard. I don't feel secure using windows 10 anymore. They don't have the right to know somebodies personal stuff. I don't want Microsoft to watch my each and every move. Is not really an inhuman approach of interfering with someones personal data and information and their privacy?

I JUST DON'T WANT THEM TO TRACK MY INTERNET ACTIVITY AS THAT IS WHAT WE USE ON DAILY BASIS AND DON'T WANT OTHERS TO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING OVER THE INTERNET. THEY CAN COLLECT ANY OTHER INFORMATION AS THEY WANT TO DEVELOP THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS. I AM STILL USING WINDOWS 10 TECHNICAL PREVIEW BECAUSE IT IS JUST GREAT TO USE AN OPERATING SYSTEM THAT IS A COMBINATION OF WINDOWS 7 AND WINDOWS 8.JUST RESPECT SOMEBODIES PRIVACY.THAT'S ALL.

Could you maybe give an example of them using adware, other than their free Windows Modern Apps?

Why does Microsoft feel the need to use Adware ? How is that going to improve the systems performance? I can fully understand the requirements for reporting and Microsoft collecting data and usage for 10 but for Microsoft to collect extra $$ for advertising is above something I am not willing to participate in.

I could easily understand the advertising concept if Microsoft did not charge for it's operating system like Android, and used ads for financing....this is not the case.

Windows 10 TP is nothing more than windows 8.2 If you install Adobe Flash Player & test if it works, it detects Windows 10 TP as windows 8.1.

So Microsoft has been collecting Information on you for a long time, why worry about it now.

Why they are not calling this Windows 8.2 is simple, the do not wish to give free updates to any users.

The Speed at which Microsoft is discarding its OS - In 6 Years -Vista, then Windows 7, then Windows 8, then Windows 8.1 & finally in 2015 - Windows 10, in few years they whould have reached Windows 16, & this world being bored with Updating whould stop buying any products called Windows.

So at that time the Information they collect today shall come in handy to send out e-mails requesting users to please try out new Windows 16

Microsoft is still supporting Vista with extended support, and 7 as well. The reason it still shows it as 8.1 is because this is an early preview.

No one in this discussion has questioned your right to accept or not, you posted a discussion subject (In fact you asked a question: Is my PRIVACY AT RISK while using windows 10 ??? ::) on an open forum, which is for the purpose of each poster to express their point of view.

I posted my point of view in answer to the original question, the aforementioned : Is my PRIVACY AT RISK while using windows 10 ??? ::

If you are testing this operating system on a machine on which you do not do the majority of your computing, as suggested by Microsoft, no. You will only be testing things out and trying out a few websites and so on. If you are using it as the OS on your main machine not only are you disregarding what Microsoft says, risking your own data etc., but there is a slight risk to your privacy. Of course, all the data is going to be processed by machines not people as there will be far to much for anything else so I suspect the risk will be tiny.
