Reread the Blog: I believe the way it's worded is that the issue with dfrgui.exe may have also been causing the problem with the Backup not working. Fixed an issue underlying issue causing dfrgui.exe (Defrag and Optimize drives) to fail in the previous flight with a pop up saying SXSHARED_UCRT.dll was not found. This is also believed to be the cause of seeing an error saying “the specified module could not be found” errors in that flight when trying to use the backup options in Control Panel. I saw that, I just hope that they don't have another issue with Image Backup. 😎🤷♂️ For now, I'm back in business. 😉 This was the exact error message; it did not give the name of the module. 😵💫🤷♂️ "The specified module could not be found. (0x8007007E)"

Fg2001, The blog did say the SXSHARED_UCRT.dll might of stopped Backup working as well. @BryceSor, Thanks, The new build is not calling SXSHARED_UCRT.dll anymore, it uses the existing sxshared.dll so there is no need for sxshared_ucrt.dll. It works fine without it. I had it added as a workaround in previous build, and now I deleted it in Windows\system32. I don't know if that was affecting also Windows Image Backup or not. The error was different. 🤷♂️

The new build is not calling SXSHARED_UCRT.dll anymore, it uses the existing sxshared.dll so there is no need for sxshared_ucrt.dll.

It works fine without it. I had it added as a workaround in previous build, and now I deleted it in Windows\system32.

I don't know if that was affecting also Windows Image Backup or not. The error was different. 🤷‍♂️
