ISO file size discussion

Your shot shows 3,938,001 KB so it is more than 3.75 GB 😏 it is 4,032,513,024 bytes which is still below 4GiB. My file below shows 4,234,191 KB x 1024 is above 4 GiB

Perhaps you did not get all the editions. I downloaded it today from MS Insider right after it showed up on the blog.

MS ISO downloaded from MS site includes all versions, I guess. It is not up to me to choose which editions I download.

File size is taken from Windows Explorer. But I can also reach the same size through calculation.

File size is 3.75 GB from Windows Explorer. Or 3,938,001 KB/1024/1024=3.755570411... GB (=3.75 GB rounded to two digits)

My zone is different, it that makes any difference in wimfile size.

Still confusion with GB versus GiB. 🙃 To avoid that MS confusion I use Bytes instead of GB or GiB.

Use dir command from command prompt to see the actual size in bytes.

Anyway, the ISO I got here in the US has 11 editions, yours has only 6.

Also, the FAT32 file size limit is 4GiB= not 4GB

Created .esd for the Pro edition only:

Size of install.wim and included content seem to depend on language version.

For test I download build 22579 fi-fi ISO and it has install.win with 10 different Win 11 editions.

Compared for your screenshot fi-fi package didin't have Home SL was missing on f-fi package.
