Split from this thread.

On April 6, 2024, I started getting this error message. It was working correctly on April 5 with the new undocked format, but not anymore. 😵‍💫

Looks like they changed something that broke it. 🤷‍♂️

After the error, opening snipping tool to take a shot, crashes explorer.exe.

    F.Y.I.

The same problem is also with latest Beta Build 22635.3495.

I hope that when they have a fix, they propagate the same also in Beta Builds.

Not consistent, it happens on one Beta machine and not another with the same exact Build. 🤷‍♂️

    • [NEW] We are aware of reports by Insiders in the Canary, Dev, and Beta Channels that Copilot is auto-launching unexpectedly after restarting their PCs. We hope to have a fix for this issue soon and is unrelated to the auto-launching experience we tried out with Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels in early February which we stopped rolling out in March.

They added Beta to the list. 😎
