Sync issue in Mail app

Windows Insider Dev build 22449.1000. The Mail app is failing to download any messages with the error code 0x80090001. I have tried deleting the email account and entering it again but still the same result. Wi-Fi connection is functioning normally and email via the web browser functions normally.

UPDATE

Now installed new Dev build 22454.1000. The app still does not sync but now no longer shows an error message.

I have tried adding the email account using advanced settings but still no luck.

The same email account works fine on my other computers running both windows 10 and windows 11

    Dev 463 was out yesterday, have you tried it with the Mail app?

    I'm currently on the last beta build.

    No difference unfortunately. Still no mention of the problem in the release notes either.

    I was on Win 10 19043 and just did an install upgrade to the new Dev build 22489.

    Still having the same exact problem, that my IMAP Email account will no longer Sync.

    Resetting the Mail app does not fix it.

    This issue only appears to be with the Dev builds, as the regular Win 11 Release/PreRelease/Beta builds are working fine with the Mail app and my IMAP account.

    Yes, I have just upgraded to 22489 and yes, for me the IMAP Mail account still refuses to synchronise. It is very frustrating seeing no mention of it in the release notes.

    I even fully removed the mail app, reinstalled it and tried 4 IMAP accounts, my main account with Hover, and 3 Comcast.net accounts. They all save, but will not sync!
