2022-06-29T04:28:39+00:00 The solution is really easy, all of the mentioned are fine but will not resolve the issue for Windows 11 Pro.
The problem is the C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps\MicrosoftTeams_xxxxxxx is not allowing read/write privileges. If you open the directory, you'll notice various files with 0 bytes. This prevents the application from writing to this directory and storing its file causing the BAD IMAGE/VCRUNTIME.dll errors with msteams.exe.
- Go to C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps and right-click on "MicrosoftTeams_xxxxxx" and go to properties.
- Go to Security Tab, click Advanced
- From "Permissions" --> Add --> "Select a Principal"
- Type "users" and check the name, and give "Full Control" as permissions.
- Okay and Apply.
- And then do a repair/reset of the app from the add/remove program features.
- Launch the application, should work.
No need to reboot or reinstall the application.

2022-07-17T13:19:30+00:00 I don't have a folder called C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps
Nor do I have a file called "MicrosoftTeams_xxxxxx" anywhere, either.I'm on a brand new laptop with Windows 11, have reset it, reinstalled Windows, tried uninstalling teams and reinstalling... No luck so far.
Has anybody else in my situation found how to solve this? -

2022-07-19T17:24:17+00:00 Make sure you’re able to view the hidden folders and files from view options. Enable that and you should see the folders.
