I have found out that my Rewards account was suspended today. I was not given notice, nor explanation, and since I'm not one who is constantly checking my rewards, I'm not sure how long this was going on. What I remember is that I had something of around 50k points, as I would use Bing pretty liberally. This is the message I get when going to my Rewards dash: Your Microsoft Rewards account has been suspended. Our research indicates that you or your Microsoft Rewards account has engaged in one or more violations of the Microsoft Services Agreement , which may include, but is not limited to: Maintaining multiple user accounts per household Opening more than one user account per individual Residing outside of the supported regions Providing inaccurate account information, including your true first and last name, your complete and accurate mailing address, a working phone number and your email address Using a service intended to confuse your true IP address or your location Using a bot, cheat code, macro or other automated method to participate in Microsoft Rewards Learn more about the Microsoft Rewards program I have tried contacting Rewards support, but it informs me that because I'm not following the rules, I can't contact support. All the message boxes are grayed out and I can't type in them. So I can't ask what I'm not following, nor can I ask for an appeal in case I tripped over a terms of service without knowing, or if it was just a glitch. I don't even know if I actually did violate ToS, as reading over the rules, it's not presently clear what I might've done. If I actually did something that I'm not inclined to correct, I would at least like to know. (I have had the Rewards account for quite a while, and this is the first time any issue came up.) I have contacted Microsoft Support, but they had no jurisdiction over Rewards, so they couldn't tell me what I was looking for. They directed me here. I just want to know: What did I do wrong, was it legitimate, and if/how I can correct it.

The same has happened to me, but I got hold of the account team and they told me that I'm not suspended and that I should try in 24hrs and it would be OK, so I've left it for over a month and the same is happening, it's saying I'm suspended, this Xbox rewards must be a scam because how on earth can I spend the rewards when every time I try it says I am suspended when I am clearly not, it's a joke this Xbox rewards, and now I am thinking of closing my Xbox account which ive had for yrs and going back to Sony PlayStation, there is always something wrong on Xbox, I am going to try one more time and if it keeps happening then I'll definitely be moving to another gaming platform. Because there is no point collecting points when I can't use them is there.

Same for me, was working yesterday, today is suspended, I have had a Xbox account for over 20 years too, no explanation as to why it’s suspended, I’ve not used VPN and don’t even play multiplayer games, only single player, to have cheated or used bots etc

Hi, this happened to me today. I am on xbox series x and suddenly my awards are gone. And also found out it was suspended. WHY??? I just play games, get achievements, complete the quests on the app and now, it's all gone. I don't use vpn, or anything out of the ordinary. This is infuriating

I too am having the same issue. Was able to collect my points yesterday and I couldn't find ANYTHING today, went onto my Account to find my rewards have been suspended for violation of their ToS. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years and this is how you treat loyalty?! It's ridiculous. We should have an explanation via email if we violated the ToS in any form and... NOTHING. Give us the explanation we DESERVE, Microsoft and STOP giving us the run-around. Tell me what I did wrong instead of suspending my account without warning!

I didn't do anything like what is VPN I didn't even know that word
