My searches aren't counting on Microsoft Rewards-how do I fix it?

What I've seen the past few days is that in my cases to get 150 points searching which should be 30 unique searches it takes 60 to 70 unique searches to get those 150 points. I've tried logging out and back in at the start of a session. I've cleared history from both bing and edge and then logoff and login and the problem still persists. The search problem occurs while running on windows and on a mobile. I have over a year for collecting search points and this is the worst I've ever seen it.
I can enter completely random stuff and it will fail to advance the points counter.

FRUSTRATING.
But the real frustrating thing is I'm wasting all this time for 5 bucks every two or three weeks.

They sent me this in an email:

“Changes were recently made within the crediting system. No worries though, you’ll start earning after doing a couple of initial searches. Rest assured, the points that you earn for the day will not be affected, you will still have the capability to earn until you reach your maximum daily earning limit.”

What can I have found is I eventually do earn them, it just takes 6 times longer than usual which is extremely frustrating. It was nice while it lasted. It will be much harder to earn points on days where I am too busy to take a much longer time span to earn.

What I've seen is I no longer get credit using Firefox, only Edge. I haven't tried Chrome because I don't use it. I also don't get credit for mobile searches except with the bing app. I used to get credit with Firefox mobile browser, but not anymore. I also believe there is a few seconds cool down, but Microsoft won't release what it is. You can't just fire off searches as fast as you can to get the points.

Your last sentence said it the best. Is it really worth it now just for a $5 gift card now. Probably not as I am not going to sit there and wait for 5 seconds to do my next search. I will keep on checking to see if they fix this problem or if this is the way bing search operates.

If I return back to the rewards page after every single search it seems to credit. I wish they would have told us about these updates so there would be a lot less confusion, frustration and anger.
